Hello, I'm Theresa! First, I am honored to be part of what God is doing at NACWE. I live in Maricopa, Arizona. I am a daughter of the Most High, wife, mother, sister, and friend.
My favorite place is outdoors, riding my Townie (bike), taking walks, or exploring with my husband while eagerly waiting for my two adult kids to visit.
It brings me joy to support women in a few endeavors, like being the NACWE Maricopa Chapter Director and providing job and career coaching for women entering the workforce as the Hope at Work program coordinator for a non-profit. I serve all six centers by developing and implementing work-related courses, workshops, and career pathways.
There is transformation embedded in the numbers!
Most recently, I was shocked by the reports of how much less women earn compared to men, and witnessing numerous women facing financial uncertainty in retirement deeply motivated me to take action. I believe in the transformative power of understanding your numbers by leveraging my 20+ years of experience in bookkeeping and personal finance to raise awareness and provide practical financial tools to equip and empower women in business.
